Hi, Some ingredients, such as glycerin, tocopherol, and caprylic/capric triglyceride, are considered "multi-source" because they can be derived from various plant sources, like coconut or palm, or be synthetically produced. Whenever manufacturers disclose the specific source of these ingredients, we include that information in our records. If the source is not provided, we list the ingredient without specifying its origin. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are working on a rating system to help assess products based on their use of multi-source ingredients.
